It’s very interesting here, I know I been through so many different meetings as member board of several states lately since myself, I am a Deaf and I have my Deaf families. I went through many meetings like senate meetings, these kind of blue or white collars people who always put us, Deaf people in their corners and in very lastest of their tails as nothing new to me. That’s how it may effects in 2012 Deaf gone? Cuz I can see there are so many fear and afraid in among of Deaf people by hearing control them as to get their education into these public schools instead of any of these Deaf schools as their budgets would cut by a time less and lesser….
I disgreed so many times and many things, too! I know I am about worn out by standing up strong enough as I just started to feel very tired to keep fighting for many years to keep Deaf schools and Deaf services be alive not shut down!! Some of these Deaf/Hard of Hearing were afraid it would ever happen to them if they would be on their strikes, etc…. I told them I was one of strikes in Houston, Texas since the channel 11 wanted to have their own device for our closed caption which effected us to strike at that time, we won out strike!! Bravo!! After this, somehow fears been showing up for many years?? Any of you agree with me here??
