Deaf rider and upcoming Red Bull Honda factory competitor Ashley Fiolek overcame a slow start to finish strong in grabbing the gold in the Women’s Moto X Super X championship.

Geigo Powersports Honda, who won WMA championships in the past, gave Fiolek a serious run for the right to receive first place honors in the podium. Being a true champion, Fiolek edged Patterson by taking the lead with half a lap to go. Elizabeth Bash took third place.

With Fiolek recently covered by DeafNation in a recent news story, she inspires deaf communities across the United States with her motocross riding prowess.

She has perfected her turns on every corner, shifting expertly as she feels the vibrations to every point in her body stunning fellow riders who frantically try to reclaim the podium from her.

All her training is paying off.

Congratulations Ashley Fiolek!
