Deaf Night at the Races by CSDVRS

Enjoy some good racing as Joel Barish, DeafNation’s CEO, races against CSDVRS’s own Lonnie Tanenberg from California, and also against other two professional racing drivers: Greg Gunderson of South Dakota (and of NASCAR fame), and Russell Errigo from Arizona! This video will be sure to get your competitive juices flowing, and make you want to do some racing of your own!

Joel- Very superior job. You seemed to have a good time. Neato, CSDVRS had a wonderful ideas about giving an opportunity to participate in the races. I can see everyone did have some fun that night.

It’s a honor to be part of this event. This is one of my most enjoyable event and I would love to do it again. Special thanks to Lonnie and Manny to invite me to this event so let’s have a tour in 2009! TEAM CSDVRS is AWESOME and I had a blast! Also, it was a first time meeting Greg since we have known for 15 years. It was a pleasure racing with every fans whom participated to this event.
The best race was Lonnie and I going side by side for a couple of turns and talking to each other with a high fives, lol.
To Jed and Joel, thank you for your excellent footage and it was a pleasure racing against all of you. I still don’t remember rattling your cages, lol.
Warm Regards,
Russell Errigo

I myself deaf, used to race on dirt oval tracks in several different classes in North Dakota from enduros to Wissota/IMCA modified classes from 1987 to 1998. I would love to participate this kind of race against all good deaf racers.
