I love that film. I am for it 100%. He lived with his dream. Always believe deaf people can do it with their actions. I heard a lot about him finally get to see it on video. Great job Mr. Joel “adventure”!
This video answered a lot of questions for me because I always wondered how Pest Control is done to eliminate pest problems in households. I had NO idea that one way is to drill through concrete to get to the termites. This video also shows Deaf people one other field of work they can get into, if they put their mind to it. Kudos to Michael Brady, Pest Control Owner.
Mike Brady has always been “the great communicator”. His ability to gain customer’s confidence and have them coming back to Brady Pest Control says something about the man and his track record.
one way is to drill through concrete to get to the termites. …..ahhh…umm concrete and termites? Something don’t sound right here. Wood and Termites, yeah I got that.
Mike Brady is the best! He has been our bug guy for more than a decade. He is an expert in his field. Friendly, accomplished, and all around great guy. Be sure to bring him back some candy if you ever travel to Canada!
Mike is fantastic. My company Cintas has been using Mike for about 8 years. He is a wonderful person with a big heart. I look forward to when he comes because he has been teaching me how to sign. He quizzes me when I see him. Keep up the great job Mike.
i am curious abt pests around outside and inside house or apt or whatever…. but when the man sprayed around the grass or inside of under wall.. what abt cat or dog or baby touch on the floor or licked or etc etc… will make them sick or hurt ??? huh…. like they sprayed outside of garden.. will it hurt the plant or animal touch the plant.. or cause them sick or what… i need to know more information.. thanks linda
We’ve used Mike Brady for our pest control for 7 years and have been very pleased. Some people have asked if it is difficult to communicate with him, but we have never had a problem. Mike lipreads well, speaks clearly, and has even taught us a few signs. He has a great sense of humor and lots of patience. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our pest control needs and consider Mike a trusted friend.
Mike, it’s so awesome to see you in this video! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you! Loved seeing how you do your job! Congratulations on keeping this business running and keeping your dream alive! If you lived in our area, I’d hire you in a heartbeat.
When it comes to household pests, cockroaches are at the top of my disgusting list. They are dirty and smelly, and they leave droppings, body parts, and shed skins lying around.

That’s real cool to see more Deaf business owners. There is one Deaf Pest Control Owner in Portland, Oregon and his name is Les Gaffney.
