Jaisalmer is home of the beautiful Golden City where many Deaf people who work hard at what they do whether they spend all day making fresh juice, frying cookies, running an internet cafe with beautiful postcards, or selling valuable books to people hoping to pass exams and find a better life. Here, Deaf people make up the fabric of Indian life inside the bustling city and outside in small rural villages and they each have their purpose in society.
