Chengdu and Lesha

Joel Barish enjoys the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu’s many amenities. He travels through the city in a Mercedes-Benz sedan provided by the Ritz to the newly improved and bustling Sino-Ocean Taikoo shopping and urban lifestyle residential district centered on the ancient Daci Temple. Next, he visits Leshan’s Giant Buddha, a gigantic sculpture built from head to feet by hands hundreds of years ago.
